Dumpling PalsPrivacy Policy
The short version. You never make an account. We never ask for your name, email or photos. Your game progress stays on your iPhone.
The app sends gameplay statistics and crash reports to Google Firebase. Our ad partners collect device and ad data. If you allow tracking, they can use your advertising ID. You can say no, and the game works the same.
Who we are
Dumpling Pals: Squishy Sort (“the app”) is made by Yotam Troim (“we”, “us”). Questions about this policy go to support@playdumplingpals.com.
What the app collects
Your game progress
Levels, Pals, coins, stars, streaks and settings are saved on your iPhone. We do not receive them. They are part of your normal iPhone backup. Deleting the app deletes them.
Gameplay statistics (Google Firebase Analytics)
The app records what happens in play, such as starting, winning or failing a level, opening a blind box, finishing a set, and buying an item. Firebase adds basic device facts: model, iOS version, language, country or region (from your IP address), app version and a random app instance ID. We use this to fix hard levels, find bugs and see what players enjoy. It is not linked to your name or Apple Account.
Crash reports (Google Firebase Crashlytics)
If the app crashes, it sends a crash report: the code location, device model, iOS version and app state at the time. We use it only to fix bugs.
Game settings (Google Firebase Remote Config)
The app downloads game settings, such as event dates. To do that, Firebase uses a random installation ID.
Advertising (Google AdMob, Unity Ads, Meta Audience Network)
The app shows ads from Google AdMob. AdMob may fill an ad slot through Unity Ads or Meta Audience Network. These partners collect:
- device and app information, such as model, iOS version and the vendor ID (IDFV);
- your IP address, from which they estimate a rough location (city or region, never precise);
- ad interactions, such as which ads were shown, watched or tapped;
- your advertising ID (IDFA), only if you allow tracking when iOS asks.
If you allow tracking, partners may use your advertising ID to show ads based on your activity in other apps and to measure ads. If you don’t, they show ads without it. Each partner handles this data under its own policy:
Purchases (Apple)
Apple handles every payment. We never see your card or Apple Account details. We receive a purchase record (which item, when) so the app can unlock it.
Game Center (Apple)
Leaderboards and achievements use Apple’s Game Center. Your Game Center nickname and scores are shown to other players under Apple’s rules. We don’t receive your Apple Account details. You can play without Game Center.
Notifications
Reminders, such as “your lives are full”, are scheduled on your iPhone. No data is sent to send them.
What we never collect
Your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos, messages, precise location, health data or browsing history.
This website
playdumplingpals.com counts visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics. It uses no cookies and doesn’t track you across sites.
How we use data
- Run the game and unlock what you buy.
- Fix crashes and bugs.
- Improve levels, events and rewards.
- Decide when to show ads and offers, and measure them.
Data is never used to change levels or blind-box odds. They are the same for every player.
Sharing
We share data only with the service providers named above. We don’t sell your personal information for money. When you allow tracking, ad partners using your advertising ID for ads based on other apps may count as “sharing” or “targeted advertising” under some US state laws. You can stop it at any time (see Your choices). We may disclose data if the law requires it.
Your choices
- Tracking: iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking → Dumpling Pals. Turn it off and ad partners lose access to your advertising ID.
- Notifications: iOS Settings → Dumpling Pals → Notifications.
- Game Center: iOS Settings → Game Center.
- Delete your progress: delete the app.
- Access or deletion: email support@playdumplingpals.com. We don’t know who you are, so we may ask for details from the app to find your data. Then we delete it or send you a copy.

Ad partners keep data under their own policies, linked above.
Children
The app is made for players 13 and older and is not directed to children under 13. We don’t knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you think a child under 13 has used the app, email us and we will delete what we can find.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or move your data, to object to or limit its use, and to opt out of targeted advertising. In the EEA and UK, we rely on legitimate interests for statistics and crash reports, and on your consent for personalized ads. You can complain to your local data protection authority. To use any right, email support@playdumplingpals.com. We reply within 30 days.
Where data is processed
Our providers may process data in the United States and other countries. They use safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
Security
Data travels over encrypted connections. Access to our Firebase project is limited to us.
Changes
If this policy changes, we update this page and the date at the top.
